harrock had to disconnect the battery, because we couldn't find the cutoff switch. Luckily, none of the neighbors appear to be armed.
I personally think the local cats had just finished hotwiring the van, which would explain the weird electrical clicking noises, and also the looks on the cats' faces when I came outside.
(On the bright side, I made Experimental Bigos (a sauerkraut/sausage thing, sort of like choucroute), which was tasty but made way too much. Maybe Conflux will want to eat some of it.)
