I see both your posts, and the first one does in fact have a link in it.

I'm trying to tell Google Buzz that this is me, so that posts here will automatically turn up there. I think. :) There's magic you have to do where you have to point in both directions, which is supposed to be done by putting in the right sort of link (with a "rel=me" tag) from here to there, but my link doesn't seem to have convinced it yet.

For the confused among us, when you say "here" and "there", you should qualify that with proper nouns like "buzz" and "LJ". :-)

Hee, oops. I meant "here" as LJ and "there" as buzz.

kelkyag pointed out that the link in my previous LJ post did not, in fact, work, so now that that's fixed, I think the LJ-buzz flow is working properly.

So, you start on the Buzz side. Go to your Google Profile (which you get by clicking on your name in Buzz, then on "Google Profile"). From there, go to Edit Profile, and down to Links, and add a link to Livejournal. That sets up the Buzz->LJ pointer. It wants it to be two-way before it'll track it, though, so after that, you can post the ref=me link in a public LJ post, and go here:

to tell google to check your LJ to see if it points at Buzz. If it verifies that it does, you get a green checkbox, and then at least the initial linking post (and hopefully posts you make subsequent to linking, though I haven't double-checked that yet) will flow over to Buzz.
