Small Projects
Aug. 25th, 2010 10:33 amI decided to try making the Skew Socks again, but this time on one size up needles, to see if they would fit my big feet. They do, and with a little extra room (maybe more than is perfect, but close enough). I like this pattern for the wild multicolor yarn - crazy yarn is often really nice looking, but often garbles interesting patterns. Similarly, I made some baby legwarmers on a larger size needle for Baby S, which more or less fit her.
Now, since we seem to have run out of summer with a resounding Splat, time to finish up the
shumashi sweater (it's fuzzy and warm to sit with, so I stopped for the summer).
