When Pigs Fly
Sep. 25th, 2003 12:10 amThe Lyric Stage's opening show this season is When Pigs Fly, apparently their most popular show ever since when they put it on five years ago. A little strange to see it again - I'm perfectly willing to listen to the same CD over and over, but seeing the same show again isn't as interesting, somehow. It seems particularly odd, because it's a very visual show, and I had forgotten some of the visual jokes.
The particularly topical songs were updated, which was nice (torch songs to Strom Thurmond, Rush Limbaugh, and Newt Gingrich being more dated now), and overall it was fun. But I'm looking forward to seeing something I don't know the punch lines too.
In other news, I'm now too old to be hit by lightning before getting married. And I found another white hair last week. I suppose I wouldn't mind being white-haired like tirinian's mom, who looks very dashing. :)
