Green Rainbow
Sep. 11th, 2012 08:01 amAnother scarf done! This one is a commission for Jess - apparently her boss keeps trying to steal the scarf I made her, so she gets one of her own. Thus does villainy flourish! I wasn't fond of the colorway as I was working it - the green kept coming back and back and back and I was tired of it, and there were a lot of sections where the stripes were nigh-indistinguishable - but I think it looks fine now that it's finished. The purple rainbow was a lot more dramatic, though.
It's a ridiculously easy pattern - k1 p1 ribbing over 50 stitches, alternate yarn every 2 rows, and let the yarn do all the color work, while the ribbing makes it reversible and fluffy.
