After finishing the keyhole scarves, I had a reasonable amount of very soft cashmere-containing yarn in both colors, which seemed a shame to put in the infinite pile of leftover yarn, or turn it all into little octopodes. So I turned it into hand octopodes instead! Except then there wasn't enough of the dark green yarn, so I used leftovers from these socks, and alternated back and forth between the two greens. They matched nicely, and the older yarn added some color changes to the "water" which seemed appropriate.

They fit my hands reasonably well; someone with hands in the ballpark of mine could wear them. Are they yours?

Woah. Those are great! Did you make that pattern up on the fly? What a wonderful use for little bitlets of soft yarn.

Yay, octopode variations! I agree, the variable blue/greens for the water work well.

I could use them, if no one else has prior claim.

All yours! (You can come and convince Charles to let you in and take them off the coffee table, or I'll give them to Jan in a week. :) )
