I really should put more weight on the preview and less weight on the cover; it's a terrible flaw of mine as a book-picker-upper. And it's easy when the preview is terrible or Not For Me (or, alternately, amazing); it's the so many cases where the preview is "hmm, this is medium interesting but it hasn't quite hooked me" that are the worst.
