Amazon Lists

jdbakermn suggested that I put my book reviews on an amazon list. So, I finally got around to doing that, for the things I've rated four stars and above.

Two hundred characters is ridiculously small to actually explain what I liked or didn't like, so they're not really very good reviews there. But there's pictures of the covers, which (as everyone knows) is very important when considering whether to read a book. :)

It does help with recognizing them in stores and on bookshelves, when you can't quite remember the title.

Ah, my sarcasm is more self-directed there. The cover is very important in whether or not I pick up a book to see if I want to buy it, if it's not by an author that I already like. I know it's goofy of me, but it works. :)

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Barring known authors, I browse by titles and covers, pick up interesting looking things, check the back cover and then usually decide.

I'm about to finish the last book that interests me from my unread books pile. Now I just have to print out a list and hit the book store. :)
