Without looking it up, what product do you guess has this slogan?

"For the protection you need to get things done."

Tampons are the first thing that come to mind. But maybe that's just because several people on my livejournal have posted about those in the past week. Because as a male that _shouldn't_ be my first thought. I should be thinking safety glasses. Or lab gloves. Or super-grip tires. Or perhaps a custom fitted superhero suit made of unobtainium.

I'm sorry, I've been sent by the International Association of Males to ask you to turn in your membership card, medals, and 30 years of service watch.

Some kind of antiperspirant.

Oh. That _should_ have been my first guess.

Since I doubt it's for a condom (!!?!), I'm going to say an anti-virus software program.

Though anti-perspirant seems fairly likely.

I think it's a deodorant.

[livejournal.com profile] marcusmarcusrc stole my first guess. My second guess would be insurance.

First thoughts: sunscreen, adult diapers, work gloves

I feel like I've seen it for symantec or norton, one or the other of those monolithic do a bad job protecting your crappy windows box products.

Firearms, Fences, Political Candidates

I do like political candidates, especially if they're offering to act as human mud flaps, for the protection I need to get things done.

Hey, you renamed your journal! It used to be Truths and now it's Qualified Perceptions.

I decided Qualified Perceptions was a more accurate description, and if I was going to name the thing in Tinooranthi, it really ought to be accurate. :)

since the game seems to be you can't second someone else's guess, I'll say painkillers, although my preferred guess is in fact deodorant.

I'd guess a maker of safety gloves. If I need to be more specific, I'll say a manufacturer of nitrile gloves.

Everyone took my answers, so I looked it up. Gosh.

And you now outrank them in Google.

Okay, that's even more wrong.
