Hey, it's a holiday!

Somehow, I missed the fact that today was an MIT holiday, and dutifully traipsed into work. I got to have the building to myself for a while, until the other Accounts person similarly traipsed in. Somehow, having someone else who is the Exact Same Kind Of Noodlehead As Me made it all much better.

I did that once on some minor holiday--it's easy to remember not to go to work on something like New Year's Day, but not as easy on those extra days.

(It's not a holiday at my office today, though you wouldn't be able to tell by the number of people here. Most of my team is either on vacation or working from home.)

Well, I did eventually. I figured while I was there, I'd catch up on all the incoming work from the weekend, and then catch up on some web comics. :)

(Somehow, it seems more pointless to go somewhere and go home again without *doing* anything there. I realize this doesn't actually make sense.)
