Leaves!

These things are adorable. I decided to just do the first set (16 for the cuff and one for the toe), because I don't have a good sense for things like how long the yarn tails ought to be.

In other news, the fan for the heat will stop going on and off psychotically; it turns out that the internal thermostat had gotten set too close togther (maybe in the whole accidental Oh No Heat Is Off from earlier this month), so the fan would turn on, send some heat into the duct, and just doing that would cool things down enough that the fan would turn off again. It makes sense now, but since I didn't know there were separate Fan Thermostats, it was sort of mystifying before this.

Something with cuffs and toes. Footy jammies? Can't possibly be socks- how can that many leaves fit on a pair of socks? Please forgive the lack of knitting knowledge, I really am wondering!

They are in fact for socks, like this one (http://www.tsocktsarina.com/sockkits/vintage.html). They're very *small* leaves, so a lot of them fit. :)
