Return of the Art Project Meme
Jan. 22nd, 2009 11:33 amThe original meme is:
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- What I create will be just for you.
- It'll be done this year.
- You have no clue what it's going to be. It might be a photo, or a short story, or a covered dish. I might finally learn how to knit and foist my learning projects off on you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to put this in your journal as well. We all can make stuff!
My version this time is a little different. The firstfive* people to respond to this post will get to pick a knit or crochet project of their choice. It goes on my queue and gets finished this year. Between my own database and Ravelry, there are a vast number of choices for what can be made.
Note that there are some people already in the queue:
*: I suppose there's no reason to stop at five, though if the queue gets large enough I stop guaranteeing "this year".

desireearmfeldt wants these socks - I have a Three Lace Stole Project, for which I figure I'll give two to
tallou and
desireearmfeldt, as People Who Might Wear Them.
shumashi wants a magnetic katamari

I opened it when I was sort of sleep-deprived and then put it in the "bring this to work to put on my computer" place, where I then forgot about it for a week, so it is good that you said something. :}

Re: first project!
Date: 2009-01-25 03:12 am (UTC)your abstract bunny is giving you the butt. :)
Alyse has this theory that, since bunnies can't give you the finger, when they get all mad, they give you the butt. Empirical evidence suggests she's correct. :)

Date: 2009-03-16 01:44 am (UTC)(Being a handknit sock, it's not thin the way you'd get from a thin dress sock, but it's fingering-weight yarn rather than thick hiking sock weight...)
