Semi-nightmare

The other morning, I woke up early from a dream about an infestation in the neighborhood of fast-growing flesh-eating centipedes. The dream itself was more of an adventure than a nightmare, but once I was half-awake, I was unwilling to fall back asleep because sleep had flesh-eating centipedes in it, something that awake me apparently finds much more frightening than asleep me does.

Wow. I'm absolutely terrified of flesh eating centipedes when awake. I can't imagine being able to tolerate them when asleep.
