Angelina's is getting weird.

Yuck! Perhaps they meant 'rare or well-done'.

I wonder if it's the "takeout" part that caused the "raw" question. Ie, maybe some patrons want to take it home and cook it there?

(I did have to assume that someone must have wanted it raw or at least "raw" in the recent past, though, so maybe...)

could also have been a very bored teenager trying to see what reactions they could get.

Maybe they were actually intending to ask about the onions, but had a brain/mouth disconnect.
