Small Slow Project

These were my emergency "I finished my knitting project! must buy yarn!" project from last Christmas's visit to harrock's family. But then they were the portable "knit at work meeting" project, so they went very slowly. The yarn is interesting - it's a single, not plied, and feels more wooly and less worsted, to the extent that I think I understand the difference. In retrospect, I think I wish I had made them longer, as the pattern as written is for kind of short socks, but I guess then I would never have finished.
