Two Christmas projects

firstfrostChristmas this year is extra-early (mid-October), so I have been in a mad rush to finish things in time. People have started to specifically ask for socks, plus there's an Extra Bonus Niece this year. The totoros from a previous entry will be presents, as will some previous socks, but here's the penultimate set (I need one more pair of Large Guy Socks, which I'm starting now):
The socks are called "Manolo", and do a good job impersonating strappy cute sandals, in sock form. The sweater is a purple duplicate of a previous project for Duncan, and seems to be the thing I do with Malabrigo Twist whenever it demands that I buy it. And, Windsor Button has the cutest buttons in the world. :)
