Secret Project, Finally Done

Shh! Don't tell, still a secret from the recipients (treiza and algorithmancy). (It's finally in their hands, so I'm unlocking the post now) This has been my main project for the winter, first making a huge stack of colored tiles and then sewing together and embroidering the movement restrictions. I adapted greyautumnrain's hex-map pattern to work with... hmm, I guess they're still hexagons, just not regular hexagons? Other people are working on other bits of a Complicated Craftipalooza, but I won't spoil them here.

Wow, that's awesome. And ranks right up there in terms of geeky homemade gifts. Off the top of my head, it might be number one. I've seen the hex map afghan, a companion cube cake, and lots of amurigami.
