It's So FLUFFY!

This was a concurrent project with the Fishies - it was more portable and more mindless. I ran into a prototype of the scarf at Borealis Yarns (during a Yarn Crawl in the Frozen Midwest), and thought it was fascinating - between the gathers and the diagonals, it's a surprisingly interesting project for stockinette plus garter. As is my tendency, I started it without a recipient in mind, on the theory that it could always go into the Christmas present pile, but ilhander clamored for it, so away it goes. It is very soft and light and fluffy - I may have to make another one for the Christmas present pile after all, at some point. :)
