Octopus Quest

My sister has never quite forgiven twe for beating her in Octopus Wars and bringing the game to an end, (or justom for being a Really Mean Judge), so in this past visit, I allowed as enough time had passed that maybe there could be more octopodes. Perhaps an Octopus Quest, with quest givers (with exclamation points over their heads), perhaps with eps that can be spent on leveling up, or gold that can be spent on Loot or Spiffy Hats.

So I am curious - are there any retired octopodes who would be interested in questing? Or new questers who would need an octopus of their very own? Or, alternately, are people interested in being quest-givers (mean or otherwise)? Alternately alternately, if you're mjperson, do you want to help run it (in your copious free time...)

This amuses me because, even though I didn't submit many entries, I still enjoyed octupus wars. Octavia has been leading a fairly sedentary life, but I'm sure she would love to engage in some new adventures!

This is my octopus! I made it a loooong time ago -- maybe when I was in elementary school? I couldn't find it for the octopus wars (nor did I have a digital camera at the time), but it subsequently turned up, so this time we can play.

My girls took out the octopuses earlier this week to play with them and go on super octopus adventures with them. I suspect that they would be very interested in Quests (tm), particularly if they were gaining Eps (racing themselves) instead of competing to beat adults.

After Octopus Wars ended, Tako surfaced once in a while, and then promptly got lost in our house just before Luka was the right age to use him as a toy, dammit. I don't think he's about to appear again in time for a quest.

We would be very interested in questing, but this time would need an octopode who matched all the others.

...and this post was enough to summon him! I had cleverly put him away, in the box of good toys for toddlers, which is conveniently the stage Luka is entering. Sadly, Luka has just about outgrown playing with fuzzy squeaky toys, but Tako is still ready for a quest.
