Octopodes Junior Fleet

Octopodes are like potato chips - you can't make just one. These are a majority later-model needle felt faces, which I think are more expressive, though possibly less durable. The Tako Yaki impersonator I think came out well, though really a proper Tako Yaki would have had collar tags and a top-of-the-head dangly bit, which i did not do. The Order of the Stick face I think looks slightly better in the picture than it does in real life - the black lines are a little erratic. Why do I have no black felt?

Oooh, I like the one with the evil/angry angled eyes in the front left, and the little one with the toothy grin in the top center. Is thesecond one the Order of the Stick face? Which one is the Tako Yaki impersonator?

The toothy grin one is the Order of the Stick face, yup. The blue one is the Tako Yaki impersonator.

The angry one is awesome.

The red one makes me think "Pac-Man monsters! Oh my gosh, Blinky Winky Something Something octopodes!"

Now I have to go google this... Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Right. :)

Many thanks. Erratic or not, I'm happy to give the stick-figure-faced one a new home. I can't decide whether I see it as more Haley or Belkar. Given its size, I think it may have to be the crazed halfing octopus (eighthling?). I can't seem to figure out how to get LJ to let me attach a picture. :(

Here, an appropriate comic-character introduction needs multiple panels anyway.

I am touched by the Tako Yaki impersonator. Aww. :)

They all look great!
