Grey Sweater

I finished this sweater for
ilhander, which seems to have taken closer to forever than I might have expected. The original pattern is a vest; I added set-in sleeves to the armholes, which I am somewhat proud of figuring out, as sleeve caps are always a little mystifying to me. Blocking seems to have widened the V neck a bit; I can never seem to block sweaters without stretching one part or another. It's made with a Brown Sheep sport weight, which was an interesting change from the standard one-ply mohair-containing worsted that I use all the time. Who knew they had so many other yarns?
