My timing is poor - they are not done for Halloween, but are at least done in time for winter. You can see that I ran out of the yellow yarn after the first pom pom.



A product placement: pom pom maker! I know you can make pom poms with cardboard semicircles, and that's what I did last time. But I'm not good at it. There's the step after you cut the yarn, where you have to hold things together tightly at the same time as you're putting the new yarn around to tie it all, and that really seems to require four hands, which I don't have, so last time I generated at least one exploded pom pom. This way was much easier. Best $5 for a random piece of plastic widget that I ever spent.

Well, Rule 34 suggests that there ought to be porn about everything, including cardboard semicircles. However, Google only turns up one entry if I search for "porn" plus "cardboard semicircles", and that's a book by Lyndon LaRouche.
