Anyone who is psyched to (some time next year or so) get a medium lightweight gradient sweater going between a color and black? I contributed to a kickstarter for a yarn dyer I like, and get a sweater's worth of yarn out of it. If this sounds like something you would want, let me know and let me know what color you like best (of the nine small colors in the page below, not the "maple" color).

I would totally be psyched, but I feel I've gotten more than my fair share of your sweater-time lately, so if someone else wants to claim, they should get priority. :)

"Cabled sweater in jewel tones" is one of the last things on my to-do list from two years ago! Jerry can confirm that I was in a yarn store today and I said "ooh, this could be yarn for the Andrea sweater" except that now that I have looked up the reputation of the yarn, it is supposed to be itchy, so that might not be as good.

That one will probably go on the list in the new year, after I finish the infinite pile of Xmas gifts, so I'll let [livejournal.com profile] gilana dibs the gradient sweater. (And if it turns out well, then you can put another one on the list in your attempt to pass [livejournal.com profile] mjperson in sweaters. :)

Heh, I had forgotten that I was on your list already. Possibly because I think that conversation happened before the Bonus Kimono Sweater of Fuzziness. :) I seem to make out very well in the windfall sweater game.

(While itchy is not a desired feature, I do wear my sweaters over long-sleeved shirts, often turtlenecked, so it probably wouldn't bother me too much.)

Ooooh, very pretty! I am terrible at actually wearing sweaters, so not for me, but I would like very much to pet the yarn at some point.

I made socks (http://web.mit.edu/boojum/Pix/Knit/Socks/tn/blueblack.jpg.html) in her yarn once before; I have a silver-grey set of sock yarn I haven't done anything with yet, that I could wave at you. :)

Ooooh. That sounds gorgeous. Yes, please, I would like happily spoiled feet?

Oh, that's gorgeous! And I do wear sweaters. If you don't have any other requests, I would adore one in the violet.

Sure, it can be yours! I think the yarn will come with a pattern, that I can see if you like, or otherwise I can try to improvise something else.

Next time you see a gradient yarn kickstarter, let me know?

Sure! :) Though this one is all wool.

Part of me says, "I want a sweater from [livejournal.com profile] firstfrost! Part of me says, "make your own damn sweater."
