A Thousand Points of Irritation
- I've been working on the sock-of-the-month Diamond Socks for what seems like forever now. They go really slowly, because of all the piecework, and they require an annoying amount of weaving in, even after people (
chenoameg or
kelkyag?) got me to do more connecting-together-of-diamonds. Real socks only have two ends to weave in. Anyway, I finally finished them! Except... I didn't. One of them is one row of diamonds longer than the other. Damn it. I need to rip out and finish them again. Stupid grumble grumble grumble...

- I haven't been able to wake up properly all day. It's grey and rainy and I think my co-workers' horrible consumptive diseases are trying to infect me.
- Um. Okay, maybe I'm not going to get to a thousand...

Oh woe! (My last knitting project is stuck on realizing I had finished the entire sweater back wrong, and I haven't been able to decide whether to rip it all out, or make the whole rest of it wrong, or just the front.)
The diamond socks are pretty though.

Hopefully the weather will go back to sunny soon.

Depending on how many stitches (individual row units?) you need to take out and put back in - it might work out to a thousand points of irritation?
(But wow, they're pretty. Not my kind of pretty - but I can admire them nonetheless!)
