Quick Baby Shower Present

Hey, I can use sock yarn doubled for baby sweaters!    First bonus: it's a reasonably hard wearing and washable but still comfy.  Second bonus: I collect way too much sock yarn and this uses stash instead of buying new yarn.

I still miss Windsor Button for final button-picking - etsy has a lot of lovely buttons, but trying to figure out what will match is a lot more speculative.

Clearly you need to develop a button collection, so that you always have some good choices on hand. :)

I'm not sure the actual babies ever have much of an opinion about the sweaters. :)

The occasional allergic-to-wool moppet might fret. But true, the child it was made for is more likely to notice to appreciate it later if it goes to a younger sibling or becomes their favorite baby doll's sweater. :)
