Does anyone order books from paperbackswap.com ? I used to trade books via them, but then I drifted into e-reader only, and have been using it as a mechanism for "I will send these books to someone who wants them because I don't". So I have way too many credits, if anyone who is still using the site wants some.

Huh. I wonder if you could donate them to the library, or the school (are there after school book clubs anymore?), or the SHC. Or if, say, an English teacher who lets their students pick some of their books for the year would appreciate being able to let them each request one or two that they could keep.

ETA: or you could stock the local little free libraries with your favorites. :)

I bet some teachers would love a way to get more books for their students!

The lack of interested schools surprises me!

You know at least one teacher. Physics seems not so likely to want paperback novels, but possibly some of her coworkers could make use of your spare credits?

I'm using it. But I've also been doing more outgoing than incoming recently; I exchanged some credits for SwapACD credits so I have a little balance on each now for those random wishlist popups. I find that very often, when there's a specific book I actually want, there are no copies posted as available (everyone else wants them too, or doesn't want to give them up).

I would definitely second finding a school who would like some extra books! I should ask my teacher friends if there's anything they need.
