Spent all night ripping out about a dozen stitches and putting them back in. (At least it was the same number of black and white, so no tension trouble). Victory!
It's about to segue into the interesting part: (this one is from ebay) so you can see that trying to keep the panels different widths wouldn't work after this point. :)
Yeah, I only unworked the set of stitches that was wrong, and redid them. Only about a dozen. If I could frog the whole thing and reknit in a day, I would be much less annoyed by doing it wrong! :)
Dale of Norway (yarn/sweater company) has made sweaters for the Norwegian ski team every winter Olympics, and this one (Lillehammer) is the most over-the-top. :)
