In the coffee-room at the office, there is a box of Ezekiel 4:9.
A breakfast cereal.

I am mildly stunned by this lack of separation between Church and Breakfast, as it were.

EZE 4:9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.

I've seen "Ezekiel bread" for sale hither and thither; it's usually instantiated as a slightly wacky multigrain. Breakfast cereal seems a little wrong, but the context for the whole thing is wacky ...

I've seen the bread too. Combining religion and sandwiches was somehow disturbing so I bought some other brand.

Well, it's poor form to eat other people's food (it's the sort of thing that gets nasty emails sent to the building mailing list) so I cannot actually speak to whether or not the cereal is tasty. :) It claims to be, on the outside of the box, though!

There could be a whole line of foods named after Biblical passages. Genesis 25 Pottage. Proverbs 15:17 Spice Mix. 1 Corinthians 5:6 Sourdough Starter.
