A new "my LJ" page. With all sorts of little widgets in it. Wacky.

Yeah

The schools bit has been part of userinfo for a little while; the "my lj" appearead in the task bar just today, when the halloween style went away.

I kinda of miss the point of anything that's not on the friends page... that's what I have bookmarked; it's basically the only place I go. I never use the home page.

Yeah, I mostly only use the friends page too. But it's interesting to see all the tools together on one page. *There's* the friends page, and there's all the most recent comments made on *my* page (a tool that I can see being very useful for people like [livejournal.com profile] dpolicar who have 90-comment discussions, and I knew they had a page for it but could never be bothered to go find it.)

The tool I *wish* they would provide is something to notify me when discussions I'm watching on other people's pages get more comments. I have a little athena web scraper that tells me when the number of comments have changed, to fill the lack.
