Hah! I have written my first Greasemonkey script. Happily, I could do this without actually having to learn javascript and DML some other thing I'm confused about now, with enough stealing of other people's code.

Anyway, it appends a link to Amazon to each book on the paperbackswap.com site, not so that you can go buy the book instead, but because Amazon really does have better book info.

(Hmm. Attempting to add the links to more than just the one page seems to have resulted in multiple amazon links being liberally festooned around. Still a few bugs in the system.)

Cool! Though I am also finding myself wondering why reading the little fox reading the newspaper is "victorious."

The foxes don't seem to have a lot of variety; in this case I picked "accomplished" and it was the guy with the paper. I decided it made a little more sense than the general happy-fox, because newspapers, computer programs, paperback books, sort of the same. :)
