I have written a minor emacs mode that my co-worker deems "creepy." I am overly pleased by this. :)

I highly doubt that you're overly pleased. Extreme pleasedness seems apropos. What's the mode?

It knows when you are sleeping, it knows when you're awake.
(I'm guessing it knows when you're working on a locked file?)

Well, it starts from that and then mutates. :) If the open file becomes locked by someone else, it sets itself to read-only. When the someone else saves, it automatically picks up the changes.

But what does it do, and when are there demo sessions? :)

The demo sessions are what show off the true creepiness. :)

mouse-avoidance mode is pretty creepy too. (I'm not sure that's really what it's called, but if you've seen it you probably know what I mean, and if you haven't, well, you probably don't.)

Oh! I'd never seen that before, but it's totally fun.
