So, I have kind of gotten used to my body neglecting to wake me if I'm over-hot, and giving me a headache instead. Stupid body, but I'm used to it. What I think is terribly unfair of it is sending the warning signals into my dreams. "Oh no! You're putting the colored headache boxes on stage for the wrong play! You have to get them off, but they don't fit backstage, so you have to keep swapping them around!" I eventually wake up from the dream, frustrated that I couldn't stack the headache boxes correctly and sure if I had just been more competent at it, I wouldn't have a headache. Plus, there's the persistent feeling that the fix is not "get a cold washcloth and take some Advil" but "get the damn boxes stacked properly", and that just doesn't help.
Bah.
Bah.
crazy dreams
Date: 2007-07-19 02:11 pm (UTC)It is a superbly annoying dream, as I might hunt 3-5 times. But I finally realized that I needed to wake myself up and actually use the bathroom in real life! At least needing to pee is an easily resolved state once awake.
My other weird dream to real life transitiion, was in the middle of a dream I said to someone, it is 8:30 I need to wake up. And it really was 8:30 when I awoke moments later. (and I did need to be awake)
