firstfrostWhee, finished the second out of three Lace Projects. I realize belatedly that all the pictures I took are from the wrong angle, so the "falling cherry blossoms" aspect are more about cherry blossoms floating up and packing on the ceiling (or being blown to the right), but you can mostly get the idea. Anyway:
I really like the yarn (it's a 50/50 silk/wool blend); pictures make the color look fairly uniform, but it's actually a little variegated, which I didn't realize until had gotten several inches in. Very friendly to work with, not nearly as slippery and cold as all-silk, but with a little more shine than all-wool.
