Knitting Projects Up for Grabs
I'm getting close to done with everything in my "for real" knitting queue, including one Secret Project. Does anyone want anything? I make no claims on speed, I think it took me two years to get to doing the squid hat for
kelkyag,, but if it's something for someone's kid, I will certainly attempt to make it sized for the kid at the time it's done rather than the time it's requested. :)

At the moment purple is her favorite color.

I want a doily for my dresser, but none of the patterns I've seen are quite right. I may end up tatting one.

I always like things like this (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/frosted-ferns-7633) for doilies, but I'm not sure about the whole "nothing is right" part. :)

You have a lovely book with many runner patterns in it, but they are not the runners I want. I've looked at a lot of tatted runners and they weren't the ones I wanted either. Nor were any of the runners I saw in Google images...

My leafy lacy socks use plain old Knit Picks cotton and seem to work fine. They're short, so they can't slide down very far.

Someday I would love another Observatory Sweater, if you are up for a project of that magnitude. The one I've got is a great boon for working at home while keeping the thermostat fairly low, but it does get dirty now and then. :)

Another observatory sweater would be fun, and will make

I find I don't have strong opinions about things like cables -- that is, textured patterns like that are cool and differentiate one sweater from another, but are not something I have much forward imagination about. (So, if there's a pattern it would amuse you to make, I'll probably like it.) I tend to focus more on color (mostly, my opinion there is: jewel tones!).
Thanks! :)
