Day of Doom Part 1

Today is probably the busiest day of the year, for my job. Last night, the email notices saying "your account will be deactivated in January" went out to about 6000 people. A large number of these people have objections.

(The second busiest is the day after they actually go away, in which the people who don't pay attention to their email call us to find out what happened to their account. Happily, at MIT, more people read their email than not.)

Whee. :)

You were supposed to have answered my email saying "do you still want this account?" (I suppose, not being at MIT any longer, you are drifting farther into the "than not" category...). I will pretend this is an email reply. ;)
